Chuck E. Cheese was opened up in 1977 and went bankrupt in 1984. the person who invented Chuck E. Cheese is named Nolan Bushnell. Nolan was competing with a new restaurant that opened up in 1980 called Showbiz Pizza. Showbiz Pizza then closed down in America, California and in United States due to bankruptcy in 1992, and people were going to Chuck E. Cheese more often. Not many people went to Showbiz Pizza Place. The Original Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza Time Theater was in California, America. The mascot of the Original Pizza Time Theater was John Widelock. he died on November 3, 2017, due to natural causes. Once the pandemic started in 2020 The Original Chuck E. Cheese was closed down due to covid-19. Nolan Bushnell is still alive today, and is 80 years old. they removed the ballpits and skytubes in 2012 due to toddlers supposing peeing in it and pooping in it. in 2012 Chuck E. Cheese's became not the best. in 2017 the animatronics were removed. Bushnell states that kids didn't care about them, and didn't look at them for years. in 1984 they changed the name to Chuck E. Cheese's, in 2019 they changed the name to Chuck E. Cheese. According to Google, it says that Chuck E. Cheese is going to change their name again to: Pasqually's Chicken Wings.
