A simp is a beta cuck who tries to cater to , or gain favour of some group for a cause they don’t necessarily believe in. For example, a man may not believe in feminism, but he’s too much of a cum sock to stand up for what he actually believes in, so instead he takes a knee and tries extremely hard to show said feminists that he is on their side. A true coward, he will even convince himself he holds the same beliefs just to gain favour and attention of the people he perceives to be on the top of the social ladder.
