Get the 1.sb__mug. The 1 train is a local train that runs on the 7th Avenue Line, along with the 2 and 3 trains. It goes from Van Cortlandt Park–242nd Street to South Ferry. Its rolling stock consists of 310 R62As. It serves all stations along its path at all times. Transfers are as follows: 168th St (A, C), 96th St (2, 3), 59th St-Columbus Circle (A, C, B, D), Times Square-42nd St (A, C, E, B, D, F, M, N, Q, R, W, Times Sq Shuttle, 7), 14th St (out-of-system transfer to F, M, L), and South Ferry (R, W). The 1 train is served by the 240th St Yard, where a 3rd express track extends to Dyckman St. A flyover connects the 1 train to the 207th St Yard between 215th St and 207th St. A separate express track extends from the 137th St Yard to 96th St. 2 express tracks enter from the Lenox Av Line (2, 3), creating a quad-track trunk line that extends all the way to Chambers St. After Chambers St, the 2 center express tracks exit to the Clark Street Tunnel, leaving 2 tracks for the 1 train. Before South Ferry, 2 tracks move towards the South Ferry Loop, where they form a balloon loop along with the tracks past Bowling Green (4, 5).
