when someone pimps young guys to older gay guys in order to extort money from the dirty older man who is probably rich and desperate enough to pay top dollar for a young pony...hence pushing ponies.
in todays world with recession problems and people having shortages in money, the money to be made on pimping isnt with high maintenance women that you are trying to pimp to middle or lower class johns. The real money is in pimping boys to older white collar gay men that are married or recently divorced and usually have plenty of money to spend and are desperate enough to throw down top dollar...thus pushing ponies
Its a great slang phrase that can be used to describe a variety of situations

exactly what it sounds like-- person, male or female, that posts a personal ad on Craigslist to be treated like a pony.
Gabby: I answered that ad for a Craigslist pony yesterday.
Marissa: How'd it go?
Gabby: It was just some fat chick in stirrups. It was awesome!

In District V, we Thespians do it differently.
It is a slightly different version of the song,
but the main concept is the same.
In this song, we will use the name Bob.
It is as follows:
"Bob is riding on a pony,
Riding on a big fat pony!
Bob is riding on a pony,
This is what he told me!"
(During this part, Bob would be dancing around the middle of the circle. Dance, Bob, dance!)
Then Bob would go up to a selected person
and then:
"Front, front, front that pony!
Back, back, back that pony!
Side, side, side that pony!
This is what he told me!"
Some people in the district say that
the 'that' is replaced with a 'me'
but the game is quite loud
and it's hard to be sure.
