Mosquito Account

A social media account that gains fame not through the use of their own creativity or wit, but by gathering substance using the content of other creators, usually smaller then their own, to gain a larger following. The intent is to seem like they have a purpose, and are not just on their bed waiting for the next installment of My Chemical Depression.

"Hey, this instagram account is so talented, look at all their art styles"

"Jaminson, They're a mosquito account, please unfollow them and not be cringe anymore"

Accounting Debt

Similar to "tech debt", accounting debt is incurred when accounting departments take shortcuts either at the start of a companies life or during a busy period. These shortcuts then have to be "paid off" (i.e. corrected) by that same department or a third party at a later date. This phrase was coined by accountant Matthew R Williams, ACA in New York City on 23-Jun-22.

We could simply transfer the money now and sort out the loan agreements at a later date. We have to be conscious though that this would be adding to the departments existing accounting debt.

Sock Account

A sock, or socks, is an internet login used for two facing on the internet. A seemingly mysterious account with intent to badmouth, or cause chaos under the protection and safety of being snug within a sock. Socks are never "known brand" trolls that have notoriety. A sock seeks relevance, but, will never attain it due to its cowardly anonymity.

This sock keeps following me around from group to group trying to hump my leg. This sock account somehow knows who I am, but, obviously I don't know who it is. Socks and failtrolls go hand in hand.
