The use of social media to shame a stubborn or unresponsive company into fixing its goods or services. In short, it's applying the doctrine of public humiliation to shape behavior to social media and thus a much larger or at least potentially much larger audience.

I'm using social shaming to make a software provider fix its crappy software.

As the title implies, shaming those for liking something, it doesn't even have to be a fetish at all, that's how fucked up our world is today.

People on chanboards will often do like shaming for even things that aren't cringeworthy at all, baseball cards, old technology, even alternate history will be like-shamed for some reason.

The act of making another feel bad for either not wearing and/or improperly wearing a protective face mask during a pandemic.

Billy Bob: I saw Joe not wearing a mask during the debate.

Gip: Least he ain't chin strapping with his nose out.

Gip: Dangit Billy Bob you started the mask shaming by pointing out the fact he had none!

Covid-Shaming

The act of placing blame or shame on someone who has tested positive for Covid, implying they weren’t safe enough or didn’t take proper precautions. Causing a person to feel guilty for unknowingly exposing others.

Covid-Shaming = Shame on them for getting Covid! Because of their stupidity and selfishness, I have to quarantine!

1) Shamieka is a lil stupid girl, who uses people around her to gain the popularity food chain. Feeding of firend's friends, she elaborately uses her friends of lower rank of popularity, to hook on to a higher rank. Her first bait/victim is Genika, over using her tirelessly Genika, she hooked on to Karrisa, Chantee and the other little *itches ( pardon me i have an itch in my ass ). She continues and hooks on to average or high rank and leaves her overuseed friends into the dumpster, labelling them as dignas ( see digna )

Fat Shaming

When someone purposely pokes fun at another person for their weight (who is often legitimately fat. Under the scenario the victim is not of an unhealthy weight, than the attacker is either a hater, troll, and/or has a very strange sense of fat). Can either be a pathetic excuse for not losing some weight and becoming healthier or a legitimate attack.

Fat Shaming used as an excuse:
Mary: Jessica, I think you should lose some weight; right now, you're 1000 pounds and you do nothing but sit inside your house and eat cheese cake after cheese cake after cheese cake.
Jessica: OMG HOW DARE YOU CALL ME FAT I'M JUST BIG BONED YOU JUST WANT MY CURVES WELL REAL WOMEN HAVE CURVES YOU STICK THIN SLUT
Mary: ...

Legitimate Fat Shaming:
Mary: Ugh! Look at that fat ass Jessica, she does nothing but sit around all day! No one loves her, and she's such a fat lard!
Jessica: *has bulimia, binge eating disorder*
Mary: Oh well fuck that she's just using that as an excuse to stay on her fat ass all day
