A sore throat caused by excessive yelling (generally the sound "yyyyeeewwwww" after getting a gnarly *pit.

*Pit- to ride in the hollow section of a breaking wave.

Note: This is a team solely used in bodyboarding jargon.

I have pit throat after getting so many hell filth *tubes this morning.

*Tube- Another word for pit.

When a scorer in the pits (behind the berm) at a rife range, inflates the score of a shooter so that he/she qualifies.

Looks like Henderson got some pit love at the range yesterday, looked to me like most of his rounds were impacting on the berm.
