Habitual false confirmation bias

The tendency for an individual to wrongly come to a conclusion, largely due to that individuals obsession with a specific item or idea.

Danny states "Product X is only available on Apple IPhones, therefore Iphones are better." When in reality, Danny has an unhealthy obsession with Apple products and is rejecting the obvious signs that androids are better products. Danny is committing habitual false confirmation bias.

False Narrative

Nebulous rhetoric that is functionally equivalent to ✌️✊️✌️Hate Speech✌️✊️✌️ i.e. Hate Speech for conservatives. They are just making up equally vapid terms now. Like... It's fucking embarrassing. Our politicians and pundits are embarrassing fucking time-wasters. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Hym "False narrative is a pretty nebulous term and is subject to the same problem created by the term 'Hate Speech.' Like, it isn't a 'False narrative' to say that your religion is an incest cult. That is an ontological claim that is concordant with objective reality. So, there is what IS ACTUALLY THE CASE... And then there is THE NARRATIVE YOU HAVE CONSTRUCTED AROUND WHAT IS ACTUALLY THE CASE... And that narrative can be more or less concordant with objective reality but... The light is either on or it's off. You can make a narrative about lights being on or how lights are turned on but it doesn't affect the on/off paradigm. And this is why it's important to reject the narrativization of everything. It isn't ✌️✊️✌️a narrative✌️✊️✌️ it's what actually occurred or is occurring. Jordan Peterson has sold them on the idea (ha! I accidentally wrote idiot instead of idea because... You know, idiot) that everything is a narrative. Everything is NOT a narrative. The light is on. False Checking

1. To falsely assert that something has been fact-checked as true or false when there is little to no supporting evidence or even evidence to support an opposing argument.

2. Misrepresenting information by referencing unreliable or contradictory sources, assuming that the audience will not verify the accuracy of the claims.

Politicians and journalists frequently employ deceptive tactics, such as gaslighting and false checking, in an attempt to manipulate public perception when faced with compelling evidence.

(noun) when you blame autocorrect for messing up your message but it was actually your fault since your finger's so fat and you type at fourteen letters per milisecond, A person who tends to false autocorrect a lot is called a false autocorrector

False shark

One way you know someone claiming to be a shark is not a shark is sharks don't run other animals off. Another way you know someone who claims to be a shark is not a shark is sharks don't need tanks and scuba apparatus to swim deep underwater, their bodies are made for their environment, which is not a natural environment for humans.

The false shark said he/she was a shark, despite a lack of similarity to the underwater animals.
