Born on a farm

Originally used to say "you left the door open", based on the fact that farms don’t have doors to be shut because there outside.

More recently, it has been used to simply indicate that a person is ignorant or uneducated as if they were brought up on a farm.

"it's really cold outside and you left the door open! were you born on a farm?”

Born in Heaven

When you do good in life and then pass away.

My Grandfather was a warrior! He was a sergeant during the Korean war and a owner of all of his bagel franchises. Although he was a businessman, he always fed the poor and hungry. He even gave them info and money to get them to shelters. June 12th, 1996 was the day he was born in Heaven! He will always truly be missed in my lifetime.

A person who was born in a different state and finally moved to Texas, deciding they want Texas to be their home state.

I was born a Buckeye in Ohio, but once I finally moved to Texas, I became a born-again Texan by choice!
