The Homney Rule

The Homney rule is that just because a person is from a state doesn’t mean they will win it in a presidential election. Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney in the presidential election of 2012, lost his home state to incumbent Barack Obama. This is mainly due to Massachusetts being a “Solid Blue” state for democrats since around 1960. The Homney Rule also applies to Al Gore in 2000 and many other presidential candidates throughout history. The Rule’s name is in reference to HOme state and mitt roMNEY.
Just cause Ted Cruz is from Texas doesn’t mean he’s gonna win it in 2028, the Homney rule is known to hurt the republicans

Thousand-fold rule

The inherent birthright of every human to seek vengeance at a rate of thousand times the original, unprovoked offense upon the original offender(s).
If, for no good reason, a “friend” were to punch you unexpectedly in the stomach, you then would refer to the “Thousand-Fold Rule” and be allowed thousand free stomach punches upon said “friend.”
Now feel the wrath of the thousand-fold rule.

Kelly’s Rule of Inquiry

If you ask the top people for their opinions first, you won’t get effective advice from the people below them.

A group of people can be asked to make a decision and will march off in a direction they never would have taken by themselves.

When doctors are preparing to perform brain surgery on your wife, pull the top surgeons and physicians into a breakroom with residents and other medical staff and ask the people on the lowest rungs of the profession for their opinions on the surgery first.

Source: Astronaut Mark Kelly, husband of former Arizona Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, in 2014 at the annual Visitor Industry Luncheon at the Sioux Falls Convention Center
“I learned you do not want to ask the space shuttle commander, the flight director, the chief engineer or program manager his opinion first. If you do, you don’t get effective advice from the people below them.”
At Los Alamos, visitors Niels Bohr and brother Harald obeyed Kelly’s Rule of Inquiry by running their ideas on the current work by Richard Feynman before asking anyone higher up.

Alejandro Rules

In tennis, this rule comes into play when you're leading by just one game and want to avoid the risk of losing. Under this rule, you play just one final game, with no possibility of losing. The result will either be a win or a tie. var: "Super Alejandro" rule: You're up by more than one game and can only win.
Momentum changed and I won 4 in a row to get within one game, but my opponent invoked Alejandro Rules and it ended in a tie.
