When someone uses the word “saffron” on somebody it means there calling the other person out for doing a trend. Like if someone were to say “I understood the assignment” and somebody called them a “saffron” or said there “saffroning” it means that there doing a weird or just using a trend to much.

Person 1: “Oh no, our table, it’s broken”
Person 2: “Your a saffron lol”

A saffron is somebody who gets all their vocabulary from TikTok. Like if someone’s says “bestie u understood the assignment” or “not me being late to class”. Saffron is a paradox so by calling someone a saffron, you are technically “saffroning” yourself. This is very much early December 2021 and nobody knows if saffron will catch on or last.
