Scoop n’ Score

A term in gridiron football used to describe a fumble by an offensive player, hence the “scoop”, recovered by the defense and returned for a touchdown, hence the “score”.
And we fumble it…and they get it, and they get a fucking scoop n’ score. What a fantastic fucking way to end the game. GODFUCKINGDAMMIT

FIDO score

How your four-legged waggy-tailed buddy measures up when viewed by da likes of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae.
I made sure to properly train Rover in basic things like housebreaking and not chewing up things or maikng a mess with shaken water or jumping up on people, and so hopefully he should be fine if any doubtful landlords check his FIDO score when deciding whether he and I can move into an apartment.

OES (Offensive Efficiency Score)

OES, or Offensive Efficiency Score, is a complex metric that is used to assess a basketball player's performance on the offensive end of the court. It considers several factors, including points scored, assists, rebounds, free throws made, missed field goals, turnovers, and personal fouls, among others.

To calculate OES, each of these statistics is assigned a weight based on its relative importance, and a weighted sum is then computed. This results in a single score that represents a player's offensive efficiency.

OES is a more comprehensive measure of offensive performance than traditional metrics like points per game or field goal percentage because it takes into account a wide range of factors. For example, OES considers shooting efficiency, playmaking ability, usage rate, and situational performance, providing a more nuanced assessment of a player's skillset and impact.

It is worth noting that OES can be customized based on the specific goals of the analysis. Different analysts or teams may prioritize different aspects of offensive performance, leading to different versions of OES or similar metrics.

Overall, OES is a powerful tool for evaluating a basketball player's offensive efficiency and contributions. By incorporating a wide range of statistics and factors, it provides a more comprehensive and nuanced picture of a player's impact on the court.

crowd score

1. Adjective/noun, similar to ground score, that describes cool people you meet in the wild.

2. Verb meaning to come across someone randomly/serendipitously that you really click with.

Both definitions imply that you intend to add them to your collection of friends or positive memories. Crowd score experiences typically happen at music festivals but are not limited to that location alone.
1. "You're my favourite crowd score of the festival, but shh don't tell the others that"
"I invited my crowd score to the afters, just wait til you meet them"

2. "I crowd scored them at Shambhala and we've been raving together ever since"
