creeper rule

Creeper rule applies to age gap in dating and can be applied from teenagers to senior citizens. It’s a gauge to the the appropriate age of someone younger than you that you can date. The rule states that you cannot pursue anyone younger than 1/2 your age + 7 years. For example for a 30 year old it is not appropriate for them to pursue anyone younger than 22 years old… 30/2=15. 15+7=22.

Just as the alloy represents a strong combination of two valuable elements, the Sandia Rule symbolizes a balanced approach to interpersonal relationships, combining empathy and adaptability with personal well-being and self-respect.

When I realized that accommodating my friend's preference for late-night hangouts was affecting my sleep schedule, I decided to follow the Sandia Rule and proposed an earlier time that worked for both of us.
