the process of unfriending people from Facebook , leaving your News Feed clean of needless blather from people you either a) don't like, b) never talk to, c) never met, or d) all of the above. Conjures images to the process of removing unwanted objects from between their teeth to leave a pleasant smile.

(scrolling through Facebook friends list): "Who in the world is Mary Green?" -Steve
"Dude, that's your ex-girlfriend, bro." -Carl
"Man, you're right! What a b****! Why haven't I removed her from my friends list? I'm flossing her right now." (unfriends Mary Green from friends list) " "Thank God I got rid of her. Who else can I floss right now?" -Steve
