We are not keepers of the world before tending to u.s. needs and shortcomings. Most simply put each action and outcome overrides any talk and " the fairytale way it should be". In general why are politicians so rich, compared to their constituents they're supposed to be working and serving for?????
Without Republicans to stand up for constitutional rights and hands off government America would no longer be a democracy by the people for the people with an individual's determination to persue happiness and overcome barriers of race, gender, or caste.
