A loose-knit demographic of country dwellers who have voluntarily and selectively abstained from modern technological advancements such as artificial intelligence (AI).

The ‘rogue rural’ movement is less about faith and more about finding the off-ramp from the hyper-connected economy. They use cell phones but would blow a hole in an Alexa system with a shotgun.

1. A rogue of the highest order. A perpetrator of extremely roguish behavior

2. A celebrity of questionable morals who commits a criminal act for no discernible reason

3. A well-dressed, well-mannered individual who is prone to the occasional wanton misdemeanor

Example 1: Stealing a snake, taking said snake to the changing rooms of a well known, high street lingerie shop and releasing the snake into a randomly chosen stall screaming "How's that for a trouser snake!" before running away

Example 2: A footballer stealing a packet of chewing gum, a d-list soap opera star smashing the windows of a costcutter

Example 3: A former public schoolboy smashing the wing mirrors off a people carrier after the MILF negotiating the behemoth cut him off at a t-junction

Person 1: Why the fuck did he do that?
Person 2: He can't help it, he's a platinum rogue

Dirty Rogue

An experienced party technique which involves one or more party-goers drugging their friends whom explicitly requests to be drugged in such a manner, or, being accidentally being given a different drug than expected at a particular moment. This can work in many ways, such as by surprise--like dropping a small hit of something into a friends drink, or boofing a qualifying friend while they are sleeping. Accidentally giving a friend molly instead of cocaine is a common example of a Dirty Rogue. The more direct, "take this and don't ask questions," approach would also qualify. The user may or may not be made aware that they have been "given something", as this is the point of the Dirty Rogue. Safe drugs and dosages are always used during a Dirty Rogue.
