ya llovió

In Spanish, used when referring something that happened a long time ago.

Could be a shortening of "Ya llovió mucho desde entonces" (Lit. "Has rained a lot since then"/many years have passed since)

Might describe nostalgia, since tears could look like rain water.

"I watched that show many years ago... (starts crying) ...Ya llovió"
