Thought to have originated in France, this phrase is used when a homosexual male wants to have sex with another male. so, he tells him to get on his back in preparation for sex. Other countries use the phrase to refer to a female elephant in heat.

Get over it

The act of climbing over the obstacle in your way. Because it’s the only way forward.

Can also be recognized as something a narcissist might say.

Not to be confused with get over yourself and/or climb over yourself. Which can be a statement of encouragement as opposed to an accusation or attempt to minimize one’s struggles or circumstances.

Not a person: you need to get over it!

Personally : I need to climb over myself, hey buddy, why don’t you climb over yourself guy?

Not a person: I’m not your buddy, guy
