bass fix

When one new school artist takes an old school song and adds a different beat with an excessive amount of bass to it. Most people will never hear the original song that was so perfect, then got slaughtered by the new school artist.

For example Gold Digger by Kanye West originally by Ray Charles.

Person 1: "Hey did you hear Kanye West's new song "Gold Digger"?"

Person 2: "Yeah it's crap, he just gave Ray Charles's "I've Got A Women" a bass fix."

fixing shit

Fixing something completely random or unspecified. In most cases, if "shit" is replaced with "stuff", the sentences remain equivalent. If a possessive pronoun, like "your" or "their", is used between "fix" and "shit", this changes the meaning of "shit" to something along the lines of "mess", this often is referring to a personal mess, but also could be a social mess or physical mess.

Frank: "My parents aren't home, do you wanna come over?"
Evelyn: "I'm fixing shit right now, but I'm coming as soon as it's taken care of."

Daniel: *spills beans on the floor*
Claire: "You should probably fix this shit before someone slips and gets hurt."

Bob: "I lost all my life savings and the house because of a bet."
Alice: "You seriously gotta fix your shit man."

a discrete container (usually portable) containing drugs & drug paraphernalia used by addicts to dose themselves. a "fix kit" has everything needed to get high. a fix kit for cocaine might include a baggie, a small mirror, a razor blade, & a coke straw.

Trust me that man is a junkie. I saw him pull out his fix kit just a minute ago, right before he went to the bathroom.
