awkward arm

The real problem though is that those who are awkward around girls over-think the spooning issue and assume there's a problem (this is a larger issue as the result of movies such as Mallrats). There is in fact no problem, assuming the dude is the big spoon. The dude, assuming he is a left-leaner, need only put his right arm over the chick, his left arm under her through the natural crook created by her neck, clasp the arms together through the boobs and be safe. D'uh. Fucking tards.

Dude #1: Schwoah brah, I just realized that there's no need to amputate my awkward arm, the real issue is that I'm just awkward!

Awkward Dinosaur

A hand gesture made by placing four fingers on a surface with the middle finger straight out to resemble a dinosaur similar to a brontosauraus. Used in an awkward situation to release the tension. Very similar to the Awkward Turtle. This was created by John Crawford of Crystal River and used in his classroom.

When telling a joke that no one gets, one can sometimes get a laugh by using the awkward dinosaur in conjunction with a "Roooaaaaar"

awkward robot

Similiar to the awkward turtle, the awkward robot shows up when things are getting uncomfortable. Generally played by a third person witnessing the scene, the awkward robot moves their arms in a slow, mechanical, chopping motion while swaying from side to side. Bonus points for saying "Awkward Robot" in a robot voice.

J. Dog: "Dude! I scored with the hot red head from the Steak and Shake last night!"

Ronnie: "Hey you A-wipe, that's my sister!!!!"

Sadie: "oooo... awkward robot." (makes awkard robot motion)

awkward rock

A variation on awkward turtle created by hitting your fist onto an open, outstretched palm. The ringing verberation of the contact should accentuate the silent awkwardness. Awkward rock is awktastic.

awkward sea turtle

It is using the ASL word for sea turtle... which is reperasented by placing one hand on top of the other, palms down, and extending the thumbs outward rotating. The end result should look like a turtle swimming. Use this gesture when a conversation or situation becomes awkward. This is a good way to get attention of friends to either rescue you or the one making it awkward understand what they are doin.

Irving was telling me all about his pet iguana, so i was doing "awkward sea turtle" to get jessica's attention to save me.
