A overused phrase. Mainly used by Imposter Hipsters who think saying it means they are so called "cool." Many people use the phrase occasionally (which is okay when used in moderation. Imposter Hipsters include the people who lable theirselves as goth, emo, or punk, when in fact they actually are scene kids looking for attention.
Hipster Imposter: "Like oh my gawd! I like totally like that band. They like totally Rox my sox (aka Rocks Socks)!!
Person who is their own self: "Do you even know the band's name or who plays in it? Name one non-mainstream song."
Hipster Imposter: "Uh, oh my gawd! I totally don't know."
Person who is their own self: "Exactly what I thought."

Get the Who moved the rock?mug. a person who's stereotypically punk, i.e. has a 'punk lifestyle', is into piercings, short and/or spiked hair & unnaturally coloured hair, does whatever they want, believes firmly in either anarchy or freedom without war, goes to punk rock concerts, etc. but isn't isn't stereotyped as a "punk rocker", i.e. is frequently mistaken and/or misjudged & mistreated, and is generally an outcast. While all punks are typically outcasts, a punk rock reject ususally possesses the stereotypical qualities of being a skater or emo, and in very, VERY rare occasions, prep & goth. All in all, a punk rock reject is NOT a prep OR goth, but a punk.
emo: you think you're a punk rocker just because you're in a punk rock band?
