Declined in usage after the advent of internet.
Also said to be a rip-off of Wikipedia.

Some edgy french general: Dictionaries with the word 'impossible' have been scientifically proven to be imbecilic. Don't buy them. Instead, use the "Le Dictionaire de le Word de le lingua de France (continue french blah blah blah)

21st century guy, and my suggestion: If you don't know the word, don't look it up on the dictionary: Google it!
