Because gang members are not likely to retaliate for snitching, a basket of kittens, or just kittens will be used in the common phrase in place of stiches to describe the rammifications for informing on their gang member brethren.

Signs of resting snitch face include small, half smiles similar to Mona Lisa's. Suffers of resting snitch face may also have bouts of immature giggling as they try to hold back from sharing whatever secret they are holding in.
