Often super tribals will spread from one body part to another and the guys who get them generally will prefer the design to accent their muscle tone. It's recent popularity is probably due do the whole M.M.A. craze. Super Tribals can been seen on guys who get called names like Tool, Bro, Douchebag, Meathead, Chotch, Guido, ect. They are also worn frequently by Nu Metal fans
