AFD for short. This is when a person becomes an uber fangirl/fanboy of whatever they enjoy to the point where they are fans of everything.

Person 2: OMG YEAH! And I love Twilight and Star Trek and Lord of the Rings and Pokemon and sheep and chapstick and ipods and cheese and...
Person 1: You so have Addictive Fandom Disorder.

dumbass in distress disorder

A cliche in bad movies such as A Kid in King Arthur's Court in which a female character in the first act of the movie is strong and totally independent and can kick ass but in the last part of the movie becomes weak and helpless and needs a man to save her.

Phrase comes from the Nostalgia Critic review of A Kid in King Arthur's Court.

Hmmm... that princess who knew martial arts and swordfighting and could defeat a man twice her size now can't break out of the arm lock of a man her size. She must have the dumbass in distress disorder.

Borderline Personality Disorder

A mental illness where a person cannot control their own emotions.

This means that you feel like shit for literally no reason, and you lack the ability to stop it.

Naturally, this results in the afflicted individual engaging in whatever behaviors they find necessary to alleviate their pain.

This, in turn, makes them appear crazy to the outside world.

Borderlines are notoriously frustrating to work with. The thing that people seem to forget is that if they are frustrated with us, we are infinitely more frustrated with ourselves.

Treatment is available. The vast majority of borderlines recover with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Abbreviated BPD.
Commonly comorbid with depression and anxiety.

I was glad to find out that I had Borderline Personality Disorder because I could finally find words to explain the way I felt... until I realized that I had BPD. Oh, fuck.

A condition in which an individual irrationally abandons normal conventions of typing in an effort to plague the internet with annoying hogwash such as: "rEmEmBerRrZZzz tHe Lil bLacKIE aNd ThE oOziNaToR?!?1 roFolzers lolZears Omgzz!"; may be susceptible to spelling things incorrectly.

or OJD. A symptom caused by too much Jonas. If you say the name "Jonas" and your friend screams, you know she's got it. Normally found in teenage girls especially around tour time. Or 3D movie time. Or J.O.N.A.S time. Or all three. Send her to Team Jonas immediately.

After seeing the new 3D movie I had major Obsessive Jonas Disorder.
