Five Man Failure:Small business with less than 10 people. The business is usually dysfunctional. The CEO of the company has 'observation blindness' and coddles bad employees. In a large company issue employees would have been sacked for more dynamic candidates.
That tube store employee is passive aggressive and never emailed me to tell me that my special order was cancelled two months ago. They're running a "Five Man Failure".

I’m never going to get anything. I might as well think about ending this life. I have no job skills. I’m way out of luck

A person that is extremely well educated, maybe a lawyer even, but are very f*ing unimpressive and almost comically incompetent when it comes to running for president of a country and having to explain their policies to voters
What do Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg and Elizabeth Warren 🤔 have in common? They're educated failures irl.

The hard part is not rushing through something when it seems like failure is inevitable if you don't hurry up, even though you only get it halfway done when you do that. It's better to fail and not fear it, than to succeed because you fear failure. You never really learn or improve if you only succeed because you're afraid of failure or don't like to lose (nobody really does). Otherwise, you're the kind of person who has a go to bag of nearly limitless tricks to reach for, hoping that the other guy forgot one that you haven't used in a long time.

A phrase used by a manager as an awkward semi-apology after they lose their temper at their employees. This is the closest to an apology you're likely to get.
Prevalent in the UK tech and consulting sector.
