hodgepodge-itis

To Don McDonald and Tom Cock of “Talking Real Money,” Hodgepodge-itis is "portfolio sprawl." It is the condition where an investor’s portfolio has become a chaotic collection of random mutual funds, overlapping ETFs, and "zombie" accounts gathered over decades.
"After looking at your twelve different brokerage accounts and thirty overlapping mutual funds, it’s clear you’re suffering from a classic case of Hodgepodge-itis."
