Booned

Booned is the past tense of 'boon'. To boon something means to stash it for later. Introduced as a phrase in World of Warcraft Classic, it spread rapidly around social media and Twitch with gamers everywhere. The original use of the word stems from the item Chronoboon Displacer, which allowed players to store their world buffs for use at a later date.

As the word has adapted, pop culture now uses 'boon' as a verb to describe what they did with something.

A term (in gaming usually) which describes a player who has stopped being a noob and has actually become an intelligent and responsible player. In a sense, a "redeemed noob" or the reversal of noobish behaviour.

Mike was once a complete noob on Call Of Duty, now he actually plays the game well. He's a boon.
