Expression that encompasses both chick lit and dick lit. Essentially quick lit is light, contemporary fiction that is quickly and easily read and (most often) takes place in an urban environment.

Tolstoy is boring. I'm more into quick lit like Nick Hornby and Sophie Kinsella.

dark lit

That state of a character in a movie when a they're unable to control their own power.

i.e.: When The Hulk goes green for the first time, he's dark lit. Another example, when Tetsuo Shima goes full blob-mode at the end of Akira, he is dark lit. Totally unable to control their power.
