The most overused term in American English.

Whenever an idiot has no idea, what he is actually talking about, he replaces the last words that would have made any sence by the word "literally"
Person: " No, Kangaroos do not inhabit Austria."
Idiot: " Omliterallyg yes. They literally do it I literally read it on 4chan thread about New Zealand and literally Austria."
