The inability to control the swear words that fly out of your mouth when the plane you are riding in hits a nasty air pocket.

I was quietly enjoying my flight when the plane jerked and tossed me up in the air and F-Me came loudly out of my mouth much to the chagrin of the passengers around me. That is how turbulence turrets came to be.

Theres a group of surfers out waiting for a swell then the perfect wave comes and a bunch of people go for it and end up snakin' the ride while bumping into each other, then my friend you would use the word turbulence (with the hang ten hand movement).
