ThatVeganTeacher, real name being Kadie Karen Diekmeyer, is born in September 24, 1964 (57) in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Being of Swiss and German ancestry, she worked as a registered nurse for 25 years and then an ESL teacher at the Concordia University but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she left her job and started to promote veganism. She created her YT channel on 2018 and her criticism began when she would no longer sign her organ donor card because she does not want her organs to be given to "meat eater(s)". The criticism continued when she made a video called "ARE YOU RACIST?" and she used a "black" doll and beside the doll is a notebook where the word n*gg*r in a different meaning and a TikTok saying that being LGBTQ+ is being "selfish" and even more people criticized her. Rachel Kiley from The Daily Dot says that her content is racist and homophobic including a slogan "I can't breathe". She also compares the meat industry to the German Holocaust. In one of her TikToks, a youtuber named TommyInnit is talkingabout his YT play buttons and she replied with, "Tommy! The nice vegan girls don't want to see your buttons, but if you want them to play with your buttons, you're going to have to show them your fruits and your vegetables" while holding a cucumber, apple, and a pear.
