He loved to collect bugs as a child and got into gaming through anime, manga, and arcades. Space Invaders. He also has Asperger's Syndrome, which makes him quite eccentric and reclusive but also very creative. He has been friends with Shigeru Miyamoto for years and looks up to him. Satoshi (Ash in the US) was named after him and is basically Tajiri when he was a kid and Satoshi's (Ash's) rival (Gary) was named after Miyamoto as a tribute.

Get the tahiri mug.Tahirihs are one of a kind. They generally go by T. They are sweet and gentle souls. They are talented and amazing athletes. They are gorgeous inside and out, their kind hearts will always show love and compassion. Tahirihs are always ready to help, especially when you need it most. They are always there for you. Tahirihs are also very hardworking, they have straight As and a high GPA. No messing with Ts, they won't start a fight but they sure as hell will end one. Tahirhs smiles are like a star in the sky, you can see them from miles away and they light up the sky. Tahirih is a deep and emotional person, sometimes she has trouble opening up but she needs to know that her friends (not just her closest ones) will always be there for her.
