Invisible Stop Sign

A stop sign that is not there, but is observed by locals anyway. Often found at the end of freeway on-ramps, in parking lots, and in front of Yield signs in Massachusetts.

No officer, I did NOT see that she was stopped. Must have been that invisible stop sign.

Instagram sign language

Initiating contact through someone's Instagram profile by liking their older posts. Sometimes responded by nothing, other times responded in the same fashion. Usually means they are interested in you and you should slide in their dms. Can be considered a mating call.

"Dude how did you end up talking to that hot chick at the bar last night?"
"Well I had her insta so I started with some Instagram sign language."

"No ____ing" sign

Refers to any posted prohibitory notice that causes its readers to want to perform said verboten activity (smoking, alcoholic-beverage consuming, biking/scootering/skateboarding, sports-playing, loitering, littering, honking, etc.) all the more.

If you wanna practically guarantee a significant uptick in some disruptive/destructive activity, just put up "No ____ing" signs, and then watch everybody and his brother start doing it!!!!

Pre-signing On

When a person instant messages another person who is signed on only to find out that that person is too busy to talk or doesn't want to talk to anyone right now because they are angry or in a bad mood. So why the hell are they signed on in the first place? Well these idiots are pre-signed on so when they are able to talk or aren't in a bad mood they will already be signed on because they are really lazy to click the sign on button more than once. DUH

Aaron: Hey Sarah
Sarah: Hey i ctn im too busy
Aaron: Then why the fuck are you signed on if you can't talk
Sarah: I like pre-signing on so when im not busy ill already be on

Believed to have originated from pub styled football chatter, "Reo-Coker for £8.5M is a good signing for the Aston Villa household".
