They often think their experiential knowledge exceeds those selfless expats or immigrants that live in the same foreign country full-time. They also often "troll" on Social Media, giving advice or criticizing others who are trying to help visitors or new expats to the area. As soon as it warms up back in their "home" country, they retreat until the cold weather inspires their return the following year.
I have lived here for over two years now and today I had an arrogant Sknowbird give me some unsolicited advice about how to best live here in Mexico.
