ploppy

A "ploppy" is defined as a poor to typical blackjack player. A ploppy harbors many false beliefs about the game, and through those beliefs he actually sometimes causes or enables the casino to make the game tougher to win at. Ploppies also tend to make blackjack a more intimidating game to play than necessary.

That ploppy keeps taking even money against an ace- he's practically giving away his money! I guess the casinos need to make money off of somebody.

Pappy Boomers

The aging Baby Boomers, now old. Due to the decline in birth rate, will be without sufficient resources to retire properly. Baby Boomers created a consumerist Western Society after WWII by inventing machines that made house work easier (washers and dryers, etc) and was supposed to help alleviate the burden of life but only drove people to work more in order to earn more and therefore be richer. Today, the Pappy Boomers are worried that not enough youths are part of the workforce to ensure the retirement funds.

My uncle Mort was born in 1951, he was part of the baby boomers generation. Now, he'd like to retire but aunt Raymonda won't let him. She needs dough for boob lift. They're just a couple of Pappy Boomers!
