Pissed up the wall

To have spent money buying alcohol to drink.

Came across it c.50years ago when a teenager on a building site.
I think it may be where "pissed up" meaning to be drunk came from.

Foreman: "It's Monday and he asked for a sub, he got paid on Friday! All his wages pissed up the wall"
Me: "What's pissed up the wall?"
Foreman: "What? Oh, it's going out and getting drunk."
Me: ....?
Foreman: "Staggering home they'll feel like a piss and go against the nearest wall: what they'd spent their wages on just gets pissed up the wall."

A phrase demanding a person to get excessively drunk or to leave the party/gathering.

Person 1: I'll come, but i won't drink anything

Person 2: piss up or piss off cunt

go piss up a rope

It's like " go take a long walk on a short pier". It would be very hard to piss up a rope. It's also like telling someone to "fuck off" or "go get lost". A widely used term in the 50's and 60's by men who worked in factories together for extended periods of time.

Shakey was so mad at Ralph that he told him to "go piss up a rope". Ralph was so stupid that he actually obtained a large piece of rope and proceeded to urinate on it while it was held in a vertical position.

To piss very rapidly and for a great length of time. Often times the piss produces a strong piss shiver and the piss may be of an abnormal color. The shiver may make your balls tingle.
