LANping

"LANping" is a term used to describe a Local Area Network (LAN) party that occurs in a heavily wooded area. The name is an amalgamation of the words "camping" and "LAN". This counterculture movement was popularized in 2009 by the Atomic Zoo.

Me and the zoo went LANping over the weekend. It was so cold, but we all cuddled together to keep warm.

Lanning

When two or more people setup their computers on the same local area network (LAN), and in most cases, play video games together. People lanning often host LAN Parties consisting of many people on the same LAN, and like to do things like pull allnighters and consume TONS of caffeine. Currently, most people like to lan together to play first person shooters, or strategic games in which it is very important to communicate.

George: Hey Fred, you wanna go see a movie tomorrow night?
Fred: Sorry dude, tommorow I'm gonna be Lanning with some friends.. You can come as long as you bring your own computer and LAN cable, though!
George: Well I don't know, it depends what you guys are gonna be playing.
Fred: Don't worry man, we're gonna be playin Starcraft and CounterStrike.
George: Sweet, I'm in!
Fred: Yeah, but don't forget to bring your own caffeine!

Laxing out

(v) The act of leaving the country and giving your friends little/no notice of your departure. The destination of these mysterious trips is often far away countries, such as Bangladesh, Uganda, and Israel. It is likely that there are other destinations that are unknown to anyone but the individual who is Laxing out.

Laxer: Yo guys, I'm leaving tomorrow... you might not see me for a while, or ever again.
Best friends: Shit man, where are you going?
Laxer: You know I can't tell you that... I'd have to kill you.
Best friends: Oh... So you're Laxing out?
Laxer: Yeah you wont see me for an undetermined period of time, or I might just randomly show up outside your house 40 lbs thinner and with a beard in three months, who knows.

Mars Landing

A Mars Landing is performed in the dark by transferring the burning remains of your joint to the tip your burning cigarette so you don't burn your lips. As you make the transfer, the small, glowing joint looks like it's approaching a larger glowing orb, like the "red planet" Mars.

"Damn. I'm burning my lips. You got a clip for this joint?"

"No. But you can put it on my cigarette."

"A Mars Landing. Good thinking."

lansing catholic high school

Lansing catholic high school is a school where seniors send nudes to freshmen, kids shit on walls, and the entire staff is racist/homophobic. This school should be turned into a strip club. Oh, can’t forget that it cost 10k a year to send your kid there while the school is made up of 4 halls.

Mays Landing

Bustiling suburb of Atlantic City in Southern New Jersey. There are two sides of Mays Landing. The first side is the side most visitors see that has the Hamilton Mall and the movie theatre. The other side, while it has downtown Mays Landing, is nothing but trees and the occasional housing development here and there. The second side is also known to shoobies from Philadelphia who enjoy clogging the streets to take a short cut to Ocean City on the weekends.

Hey lets cut through Mays Landing and shave 5 minutes off of our trip to Ocean City. They wont mind.
