To be running away from the authorities. This term dates back to the 1920's and was a part of urban slang.

"I pinched the hooch from some drugstore cowboy of a raggle-muffin and now im on the lam so you better scram or ill knock you off. Kepeesh!"

They joke around a lot and can be very jolly. When they smile, the whole room lights up. Their laugh will make you feel warm inside like your about to fart. Lam’s are so much fun. They tend to be night owls and have all nighters. You can talk to them for hours at a time without noticing cause the ur beatfrand. You always want to be with them and at their house. A word (or rather an acronym that describes somebody that has "Look At Me Syndrome" (LAMS!)

Someone who has LAMS likes to be the centre of attention and if the room goes quiet they draw attention to themselves by being silly... or leaves a room returning wearing a wig, costume or doing something to draw people to look at them.
