Kirbyism

A Video Game terms relating to Game Design.

Kirbyism is a term coined by game developer, Masahiro Sakurai, who's behind the Kirby and Super Smash Brothers franchise. The term refers to a specific game design philosophy that Sakurai has when developing games, where he creates games that appeals to both those who may have never picked up a controller and those who have been playing video games their entire lives.

"Man, this fighting game is very simple in design, yet I can't help but feel as if there is a depth in terms of gameplay; therefore, it must've been designed with Kirbyism in mind."

Kirbycide

When someone uses the character Kirby in a Super Smash Brothers game and uses Kirby's ability to temporarily hold anyone in their mouth and then jumps off of the edge of the map, killing him and the player he had in his mouth.

Player 1: God damn it, you just kirbycided me!
Player 2: Allahu ackbar ;)

a person (usually a kid) who downloads their hack programs, and then uses the program to hack others. also, noobs who dont know how to write their own viruses. thus being awarded the insulting name of script kiddy.

Kiriyama Kazuo, the crazy male in Battle Royale. Emotionless and ruthless. His weapon was originally a paper fan, until he killed his friend and took his Ingram Sub-machine gun.

Zero Kiriyu

One of the main characters of the anime / manga Vampire Knight. Zero belongs to a family of vampire hunters, the Kiriyu family. He's got a twin brother named Ichiru. Although he is a vampire hunter, Zero's also a vampire 'cause he's been bitten by the pure blood Shizuka Hiou.
