The irrational voter excitement for the midterm or presidential elections. The media, wealthy donors and secret political organizations stoke the fires for months that a victory by your favorite political party will somehow dramatically improve your life and the nation. It won’t unless you are a super rich person or large corporation. electiral, electoral college, voter, voting, politics, political corruption, politician, DC, political swamp, Washington D.C., DC swamp, Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians, Trump, Obama, Clinton, mainstream media, lamestream media, CNN, Fox News, Senators, Congressmen, Congress, midterm elections, presidential elections

I do not understand all of this electoral euphoria over the midterms. The elections won’t eliminate the DC swamp and all of the corruption.

electoral autocracy

A well functioning multi-party democracy with a popularly elected government where Nuland hasn't managed a successful color revolution, yet. A key component is a big enough military to make overt military intervention too costly and embarrassing.

State department hack 1: We have been trying and trying but none of the fake protests we organize in country X have managed to bring about a regime change yet.

State department hack 2: Tell Soros to get one of his Scandinavian proxies to declare country X an electoral autocracy. That will show them.

DoD Austin: Fine, but can we stay friends with them though? We sorta need them to counter country Y now that we ourselves are thoroughly deindustrialized, deeply in debt, out of ammo, out of planes, and short of military recruits.
