oh boy where have you led me on this windy night
i followed you all the way until you jumped into water
all your colours dissolved
i want to make out but i can't make you out
i am here holding nothing but a hope now
because its that silent

Impractical piece of jewelry, most often forcibly inserted into the lower earlobe where it then hangs. Most often used by girls with a single "earing" in each ear, sometimes also used excessively - by girls or guys - with mixed results.
Statistics have shown that people identifying themselves as "gothic" or "emo" have are 150% more likely to have multiple earings.

In the book "Diary" Peter's friend ripped his earing out, severing his earlobe into two pieces, resembling a snake's tongue.

Bill:Hey whats a stoners favorite word?
Bob:I don't know man, What?
Bill:Ear
Bob:Ear..?
Bob:Yeah (acts like he is hitting a joint and holds breath "EAR" taps him and passes the joint)

A song that is inexplicably in your head when you wake in the morning, and not a song that you have listened to recently. Unlike an earworm, it is generally a song that you like.
My earring this morning was the Clash song "Corner Soul". Haven't listened to it in a while, but it's a good one to have in my head.
