The backup vocals in modern Rap and Hip Hop. Mostly found in the Crunk/Dirty South subgenre, these vocal parts usually consist of short vocal stabs that may be short words or abstract sounds like "Yea", "What", "Hey", or simply "Ugh" or "UH"

Catchphrase invented by Gregg "Opie" Hughes in the late 1990s while on WAAF. It's the hip young term to describe your bros, pals, pallies, and dudes. The proper response to being called "brotha man" is with a fist bump or man-hug.
