The Church of Tetris

The Church of the one true religion. The acolytes of the Church of Tetris (CoT) believes that all should receive the joy that Tetris brings. Their core beliefs include helping others to understand and share in the glory of Tetris, as well as abstaining from "False idols".

"The Church of Tetris is founded on the belief that all people should receive the glory of Tetris. Those who know of the Glory shall have peaceful lives filled with wonderful things. Those without Tetris shall continue on as all humans do. And those who oppose Tetris shall be crushed in a rain of blocks from on high."

The CoT has even sanctioned a prayer to be uttered whenever worshipping the one true Tetris.

"You can worship Tetris anywhere you can take an electronic device. We at The Church of Tetris have even sanctioned a prayer, which we recommend you speak aloud before worshipping the great Tetris:"

Oh, Tetris, thy Glory great,
Give us today our daily blocks,
So that we may clear them.
And give us strength,
Through our gaps and mistakes,
To obtain a tetris.

1. The act in which two block pieces bang each other with excitement. It is required for one block piece to have a phallus shaped extremity, while the other has a receptive vaginal shaped space between the cubes that conform the piece.

When you come to a stoplight and make the conscious decision to avoid getting behind a dumptruck or semi and opt for the lane with 10 vehicles instead of just two so you're sure to move sooner when the light turns green.

tetris syndrome

the condition caused by playing too much tetris, where the sufferer sees falling tetris blocks wherever they look.
this effect can be more severe with closed eyes.

other symptoms include:
-craving more tetris. this temptation must be fought at all costs.
-trying to decide which tetris blocks would fit into any space you see
-lack of motivation to do anything other than beat your current tetris record.

one quick game will have me in tetris syndrome for days.
