denver shuffle

A cross walk that stops all traffic and allows all pedestrians to cross the street in all directions and even diagonally. First originated in Denver, then adopted by other cities across the country.

When all the lights go red and only pedestrians are allowed to go then we are doing the Denver Shuffle.

The Dansko Shuffle

A dance achieved wearing only "Dansko" clogs. The shuffle originated from the sliding movement a person must use while wearing danskos, to safely get across an icy driveway. To do the "Dansko Shuffle," one makes awkward forward movements one leg at a time as if cross country skiing.

The Dansko Shuffle was very prevalent at the party, for a lot of the people were REI junkies wearing clogs.

Downriver Shuffle

Those who live in the Downriver area of Michigan (communities south of Detroit: Allen Park, Brownstown Township, Ecorse, Flat Rock, Gibraltar, Grosse Ile, Huron Charter Township, Lincoln Park, Melvindale, River Rouge, Riverview, Rockwood, Romulus, Southgate, Taylor, Trenton, Woodhaven, and Wyandotte) who have either/or have failed to obtain a higher education, have had a child at too young of an age, married, married an uneducated individual in the armed forces, got involved in a blue collar career with no chance of promotion, have no ambition to succeed, live with parents over the age of 24, too lazy to succeed or obtain a job to support oneself, and or live off the financial means of an individual(s) other than themselves. In other words believe that this (the Downriver Shuffle) is just "Good enough."

Those who have not succeeded, nor have made a significant improvement in their lives since high school. Those whom still believe that their band is going to "Make it" are just a few examples of those playing the "Downriver Shuffle".

I noticed Kimmy defriended me. So I waited a couple weeks, requested to be friends, and when she accepted I gave her the Defriend Shuffle.
