SOCOM pistol

Known to USSOCOM (United States Special Operations Command) as the Mark 23, Mod 0. It is the pistol of choice for U.S. Special Forces. It uses .45 ACP (automatic colt pistol, for those of you not in the know). It also comes with a Knights flash and sound supressor and a laser aiming module. It has a 150mm barrel(5.9 inches) and is capable of match-grade accuracy. It is not very popular with Special Forces, being that it is very large, rivaling a Desert Eagle in size.

Solid Snake uses a SOCOM, and you should too.

The third installment to the hit series, SOCOM 3: US Navy SEALs will have a much more immersive single player. It features streaming technology in which the levels will be 10 times larger, enemies will be in much more abundance, and hopefully a better framerate.

New features include full weapon customization, an array of vehicles modified for war (hummer, SOC-R assault boat, or as simple as a truck with mounted machine gun), swimming and going underwater, new teammate commands, and 32 player online with new game modes.

SOCOM 3 will be the most kick ass game the PlayStation 2 will ever see.

SOCOM II

SOCOM II is the best online game for the PS2. It is an over-the-shoulder Military Shooter based off Navy SEALs and their operations.
The most popular online console game.

Operativ is the best SOCOM II player there is.

Ghost Recon 2 doesn't have shit on SOCOM II.

The popular name for the Heckler & Koch United States Special Operations COMmand Mk23 Mod 0 Offensive Handgun Weapon System. Featured in Metal Gear Solid and Action Quake 2.

With a name like that, it's no wonder it's known as the SOCOM pistol.
