New Punk

One of the original names for IO Punk Music which comes form the U.K in the late W's and early 80's. Also known as: street punk, streetpunk, or real punk. Mostly known now as Street Punk but still called OI.

The general ideology of the original Oi! movement was a rough sort of quasi-socialist working class populism. Lyrical topics included unemployment, workers' rights, harassment by police and other authorities, and oppression by the government.

Long Haired Punk

A long haired punk is used to describe a long haired male in the modern punk rock culture. A long haired punk is considered the " black sheep" of the modern punk culture. He makes his own clothes is very pro DIY and choses to grow his hair out long instead of cutting it and getting a Mohawk. A long haired punk won't give a shit If you think he's a poser, because while your dyeing your hair pink he will be out thrashing in the mosh pit. Long haired punks are major hardcore no matter how fast they come into the scene, and and should be respected.

Punkbuster

An ancient piece of software the for some unknown reason large publishers like EA still use.

The staff at Punkbuster write their code in Java and only work on it from 9-11 am at the local community college computer lab.

The program mainly functions as a lottery system, if punkbuster works you are allowed to play the game that day.

This helps publishers pay as little as possible for servers as they force large portions of the community offline in a load balancing technique.

Punkbuster wont let me play my game online!

A style of dress that adopts the iconoclastic auti-authoritism of punk but instead of transgressing social norms by dressing in red and black, dresses ostentatiously flamboyant---often with lots of colors, rainbows, or overall absurdity.
