A One More Thing occurs when a company reveals a suprise announcement right as they are supposed to end a conference at an expo. The name originates from how Nintendo always has “one more thing” to show off at any big event.

Nintendo Fan: Are they gonna hit us with the one more thing?!?
Nintendo: However, we do have one more thing to show off today.
Nintendo Fan: *unintelligible exicted noises*
