He is a smart, funny, and kind person. He is a good boyfriend because he will always be there for you, even in your darkest times. He's the one that would run up to someone trying to kill themselves and say "Hey, let's talk. You don't have to do this". He will listen to you for hours, and actually care about what you are saying.
