Negative Nancy

A nickname given to a guy or a girl who always has a negative spin on things. Always brings the mood down with the doom and gloom analogies.

Jack: Way to go Billy...a grand slam!
Tom: God, it's about time he only struck out the last four at bats.
Jack: Just shush and quit being such a Negative Nancy and be thankful it wasn't a fifth strikeout, but it was a grand slam.

Sid and Nancy

a horror story centered around drugs, a passionate "love story", and a dramatic representation of how the Nancy Spungen spent her final days. It is probable to believe that two highly addicted heroin addicts don't have a clear enough mind to choose an appropriate potential life long partner, but instead at best choose someone who shares their addiction and off the wall antics.

Sid (of the sex pistols) and Nancy (retired hooker) will forever be a diabloical couple from the past, and are probabaly most famous because of how their lives ended.

The term "Sid and Nancy" is used to describe any couple that have become partners in crime, are badass, or seem to have an absurd mixture of violence and love.
